Dimethylformamide

£695.00
sold out

The second release from my ‘Defective Damien’ series, from an edition of 10:

  • Limited edition archival inkjet print, 80cmx80cm, on 380gsm hand-torn deckle-edge natural white cotton paper

  • Signed, numbered and embossed with Epi studio stamp

  • Note that each print from this edition of 10 features a different number and configuration of removed spots. No two prints from the Dimethylformamide edition are identical.

Whilst I obviously don’t share their sentiments, some in the art world bemoan that the less of a Damien Hirst Work is actually visible, the better the viewing experience is for everybody.

With this in mind I’ve created my ‘Defective Damien’ series of prints, each one named after a different constituent of chemical paint stripper, which in their own small way start the ball rolling on erasing Damien Hirst’s œuvre, one spot at a time.
